# Hand off a supply order to a location

Illustrative SOP v1.0. Adapt, test and approve before use.

## Owner

Location operations; the central operations team maintains the SOP.

## Trigger

A prepared order needs review and a local owner.

1. Capture opening the order and checking the location, using example data.

2. In the draft, add who checks the items and what happens when a detail is missing. Use a location parameter when importing.

3. Import the SOP and review it with one pilot location. Configure access and responsibilities explicitly.

4. Ask a teammate to follow the SOP in a run and record the order reference and next owner.

## Before starting

Approved item list, location identifier, receiving manager and the central procedure version. Separate permitted local values from the common steps.

## When to pause

If the requested item or location differs from the approved list, return it to the central owner before submission. Do not create an undocumented local copy of the procedure.

## Completed sample record

Illustrative record F-104; location DEMO-NORTH; procedure v1.0; receiver location manager; variation delivery window 09:00–11:00, pending local confirmation.

## Acceptance check

Repeat the same task at DEMO-SOUTH. Check which values change and whether the common acceptance rule remains usable.

## Maintenance trigger

The central owner reviews proposed local variations and decides whether a change requires updated training.
